Thursday this week was bad…lands

Friday, March 19th, 2010

This last Thursday, Noel Fraser and myself headed out to the Ontario Badlands to take some shots on that famous red clay.  We got there a little later than we wanted to, and we both had limited time to work with before having to get back to reality so time was short.  We chose our weapons and began to battle when we quickly realized that the terrain was just awesome, especially when kicked!  Short version is that we basically spent the hour we had there shooting some sequences where I was just running accross the hills trying to kick up some dirt where I could.  Noel was manning the camera and following along as I embarrassed myself at the badlands.

It was actually a lot of fun to go out and play, and I think I speak for Noel when I say that we both had a great time on the Roundup and are looking forward to next week’s!  Not sure yet where it will be but I’m sure we’ll think of something great.  The thought alone of getting some great shots on a weekly basis is really motivating to me and also keeps me excited for Thursday aside from getting to watch fine NBC broadcasting over the internet later that night.  Hopefully it continues to grow as this was the smallest turnout so far :(, but I think regardless it’s a really fun experience.

Here are a few shots from the Badlands.  For more shots check out the Facebook page here.
