Dots & Fingers Kit    $35 - Dots and fingers are most commonly used for manipulating or controlling light in small areas. Our kit includes 18 dots in 3 different sizes (2 singles, 2 doubles, 1 solid and 1 artificial silk of each size) and 12 fingers in 2 different sizes (2 singles, 2 doubles, 1 solid and 1 artificial silk of each size). Pins are colour coded for easy identification of fabric covering.

Single Net: Reduces light intensity by 0.6 stops without changing the pattern or colour temperature.

Double Net: For a greater reduction of light intensity (1.2 stops) without changing the pattern or colour temperature.

Artificial Silk (White): Softens and diffuses direct light by 1.6 stops and introduces a significant amount of ambient bounce.

Solid Flag (Black): Flags are rectangular frames with mounting pins attached and covered with solid black cloth. They are used to control light regardless if it's natural or artificial. Flags can also be used to protect the camera lens from flares, to control spill from other light sources, or to keep light from reaching certain areas on the set.

Hot Solid Flags: Hot Flags are guaranteed fire proof up to 1800 degrees Fahrenheit. Water will not stain or reduce the integrity of the Hot Flags.

Floppy Flag (Black): Floppies are square flags that measure 4'x4' (or 48"x48") and have an extra flap sewn to one edge and held in place with Velcro. The flap can unfold and become twice its original size, which allows you to control a larger section of light.

Aluminum Frame: These 4'x4' frames come empty and are used for light diffusion, coloured gels, or other materials intended for bouncing and reflecting light.

Cutter: A flag that is bigger than a large flag is referred to as a Cutter. It is rectangular and measures 18"x48".

Floppy Cutter: A flag that is larger than a cutter and measures 24"x72". Like a floppy, it has a flap that can unfold and become twice its original size, which allows you to control a larger section of light.

Dots & Fingers Kit: Dots and fingers are most commonly used for manipulating or controlling light in small areas.
